we celebrated ALVIN's birthday at MOS yesterday.
Halloween Night. cool. weird people with ugly outfits. bleah.

we drank. we partied. we gossip.
we came down to the topic of MARRIAGE.

i have been dating my sweetheart boyfriend (i'm in a good mood today, so it's 'sweetheart') for about 2 years, well almost. yew, never really thought of myself as a 2year relationship persona, but yeah, 2 friggin years. can you believe it?

several conversations with my friends while partying at MOS last night

alvin: so when is my god-son coming?
me: what?
alvin: god-daughter??
me: go to hell lar.....

me: huh? no.
royden: why? haven meet Mr. Right yet ar?
me: no lar. i think marriage is disgusting. makes my hair stand.
royden: i am so not inviting you to my wedding in future.

me: so, intending to further your studies after poly?
ky: no lar. i want to get married, have kids and stay at home.
me: huh. why? don't lar, marriage is disgusting.
ky: you don't intend to get married to your boyfriend meh?
me: of course not lar. i already told him liao. if his looking for marriage, then he should go find another girl.... haha
suyi: i intend to get married at about 24 years old
me: serious? (looks at Soe (her long term boyfriend of about 5 years))
me: you two seriously getting married ar?
soe: yar. of course la... (holds suyi tighter)
me: (so damn sweet)

i rationally sit down to think about 'marriage'.
am i just being cynical about marriage?
