- it's my fault this time

i had to get a motor quote for my Stupid Toilet Bowl Servicer early last month.

of course, as an admin assistant, i obviously was not aware that for AXA Insurance, in order to qualify for SDD (some special discount thing), the client has to have more than 30% NCD under his name.

but as i didn't know that, i proceeded the quote allowing the client to have the SDD, and therefore a lower premium.

today, AXA Insurance called to inform me that the quote cannot be processed as the client doesn't have a 30% NCD under his name.

only problem, my client has paid.
double shit.

i called Andrea (AXA admin staff), she says she can proceed with the quote, but our brokerage will be affected. i nearly died when she said that. fucking hell.

so i did the only thing i could think of - go look for my Stupid Toilet Bowl Servicer.
it takes 10 steps to walk to her desk.

i prayed really hard.

i grew older by 2 years.

panicking me: Shermayn, Andrea says our brokerage will be affected
STBS: Cannot. I talk to Andrea.

she goes on to call Andrea, i move 2 steps behind her to hear the conversation

STBS: Eh, Andrea, cannot la
Andrea talks.....
STBS: Also canot blame my girl what, your system didn't prompt that a 20% NCD cannot qualify for SDD
Andrea talks....
STBS: Take it as feedback from me la, your system needs updating la, never prompt, like that will cause errors leh

STBS: i know it's my girl's fault, but she's not a broker also, how to know this info, that's why i say your system needs to prompt

STBS: my client paid. tell you what, you let me talk to Irene when she is back. get her to call me
